Extended Stems

Two type of stem extensions are offered : rising stem and non-rising stem.
The rising stem arrangement places the handwheel (gear, etc.)and the stem nut in the extended position.
When extended position indication is not re-quired, a non-rising stem arrangement may be used.
The non-rising arrangement consists of a stem extension coupling that replaces the handwheel on a standard valve.
